"While I was chair of Biology, I worked with Career Services to organize an alumni panel, bringing back 8 biology alums who had careers outside of universities...The panel was well attended by students and several students in other departments expressed wishes that their departments would do the same. During a break in the panel presentation, staff members from Career Services were available for students - answering questions about resumes, and interviews. I send my students to Career Services to get advice of all sorts on careers, resumes, connections with alumni."
