Campus Tour - Engineering Overview

We believe the best engineers are the ones who understand not only the widgets they design but also the people whose needs are to be met.

Maxine Frank Singer Hall, one of only a very few science buildings named for a woman on an American college campus, honors pioneering molecular biologist Maxine Singer ’52, H’78 and houses biology, psychology, and engineering. In engineering, a rarity at a liberal arts college, students gain the tools to adapt to new technical and societal challenges, and leave with the creativity and confidence to solve problems of ever-growing complexity, as well as the compassion to consider the social impact of their actions.
